Thursday, May 28, 2026 marks the eighth National Bioeconomy Day, promoted and coordinated by SPRING Cluster with Assobiotec-Federchimica.

The goal of the initiative is to raise awareness among citizens, businesses and institutions about the strategic value of an economy based on the sustainable use of renewable biological resources, promoting sustainability-oriented behaviors and production models.

Bioeconomy Day is aimed at a wide and diverse audience: schools, universities, institutions, insiders, journalists, families and citizens will be involved in dissemination and discussion activities, with the common goal of building a culture of the bioeconomy as a lever for sustainable development.

The initiative involves numerous partners including companies, research centers, associations, universities and institutions with the aim of bringing a wide and cross-sectional audience closer to the topic.

All entities involved are invited to carry out communication and dissemination activities of the different initiatives in order to promote the event on different social channels and websites.
