The European Biopolymer Summit 2026 will be held in Amsterdam on November 4 and 5. The event will focus on the commercial, regulatory, and operational challenges accompanying the evolution of the biopolymers sector.

Manufacturers, processors, brand owners, retailers, and technology providers will discuss key topics such as production scalability, cost competitiveness, raw material availability, material performance, and packaging applications. The debate will also focus on the relationship between legislative ambitions and the readiness of European infrastructure for collection, recycling, composting, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

The goal of the summit is to facilitate the transition of biopolymers from the pilot project phase to large-scale, commercially sustainable industrial implementation.
