On March 3, 2026, the National Roadshow for the third edition of BioInvestIT – the Bioeconomy Investment Forum dedicated to circular bioeconomy companies that are looking for investors and those research projects that want to establish new start-ups will start.

The initiative is organized by the SPRING Cluster in collaboration with theEuropean Circular Bioeconomy Fund and Bio4dreams with the support of a network of local partners.

The call for ideas remains open until March 31, 2026.

BioInvestIT involves three stages:

PHASE 1 – PROJECT AND SME SEARCH AND SELECTION

Participants are invited to submit their ideas and proposals. The most interesting projects/SMEs will be selected by a technical committee (for a maximum of 10 projects/SMEs) and will enter phase 2 of the track.

A National Roadshow is planned in collaboration with local partners to enable companies and researchers to present their project in front of local investors and the innovation ecosystem.

Projects deemed most interesting by a local jury will then be admitted directly to the Investor Arena Meeting.

The Rome stop will also be an opportunity to explore the themes of the European project Bioeconomy GIANTS of which SPRING is a partner. In fact, there will be a time for dialogue on regional challenges in the areas: agriculture, forestry and agribusiness.

PHASE 2 – INVESTOR ARENA MEETING

National event where the most promising participants (maximum 10) will present their project to a panel of investors, experts and industry representatives, who will select up to 3 finalists to present at the European Investment Forum.

Milan – May 14, 2026

After the Investor Arena Meeting, the most promising finalists with global ambitions will have the opportunity to present their project in international arenas across Europe.
