On September 25, the pitching, matchmaking and networking event “Pitch Perfect and Boost European Bioeconomy” will be held at the Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel ,.
SPRING is a partner in the event along with Pilots4U Database and Network, Bio Base Connect, The ProteInn Club, BioeconomyVentures Platform, Planet B.io, ShapingBio, Waste2Func, and Tech4Biowaste Database. The presence of these entities ensures a diverse participation ranging from investors, SMEs, start-ups, large companies, technology providers, and organizations offering relevant innovation services such as scale-up testing, application testing, business plan writing, access to finance, feedstock analysis, LCA, etc.
The day will be dedicated to pitching, matchmaking, and networking, with the goal of connecting industry to innovative bio-based technologies, innovators to investors, and creating new partnerships for the future and further development of innovative value chains in the bio-based economy.
Pitching & Call for Pitch Abstracts
Participants are invited to apply for a 7-minute pitch. Nine pitch sessions of 90 minutes each will be organized and at least 99 inspiring proposals will be selected for this. Pitch categories are not defined at the time of registration, but must be relevant to the further development of the bioeconomy.
Nominations for pitches can be made online via this link (the submission form is at the bottom of the page). Nominations can be submitted until Tuesday, July 4, 2023, no later than midnight.
Matchmakers are individual 20-minute meetings organized around 25 matchmaking tables aimed at finding new business partners. The scheduling of these meetings will be supported by an online, easy-to-use matchmaking system on smartphones or laptops (activated by September 1, 2023).
