Since 2015, Agribusiness Park has managed the Regional Agribusiness Cluster to promote Friuli Venezia Giulia's agricultural and food supply chains by fostering public-private collaborations. It deals with representation, clustering, services, training and S3 strategy development. Since 2017, it also includes the bioeconomy. Interacts with entities, associations, and investors nationally and internationally to optimize resources and update its development strategies.
AgriNewTech Ltd.
AgriNewTech S.r.l. (ANT) is an innovative spin-off from the University of Turin, focused on biotechnology applied to the environment and agriculture. The company develops technologies for sustainable crop protection, evaluates the quality of composts and soil improvers for optimal use in agriculture, and valorizes biomass, waste, and by-products, including those from biorefineries, for reuse in agriculture.
Air Factory
AIR FACTORY Srl is an innovative Startup and Benefit Company that focuses on environmental consulting. It designs and develops Interlaboratory Circuits (ILC), Round Robin and Proficiency Testing (PT) schemes for emissions from stationary sources, ensuring data quality and continuous improvement of quality management systems in laboratories. It provides training for sampling technicians and supervisors and works in the field of environmental permitting. It also participates in the creation and revision of technical standards in the field.
Alfa Plastic S.p.A.
Plastica Alfa is an Italian company that converts plastics for the irrigation, plumbing, water treatment and thermo-hydraulics sectors, present in more than 80 countries. In recent years it has focused on the circular economy, developing processes for the biochemical conversion of CO2 into algal biomass using innovative polymeric photobioreactors. These systems make it possible to produce microalgae from which high value-added compounds can be extracted for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, and feed sectors.

Alkelux is an innovative startup founded in 2024 that develops nanopolymers with antimicrobial properties using plant processing waste in a sustainable way. The additives produced are integrated into the early stages of food packaging production to give packages antimicrobial capabilities, improving control over food integrity and significantly increasing their shelf-life throughout the food supply chain.
Animal Production Research Center – CRPA
Active since 1972, CRPA supports private individuals and public agencies in the agribusiness and environmental sectors, with the aim of promoting technical, economic and social progress in the livestock sector and spreading environmentally friendly agricultural practices. A non-profit consortium company with a public majority, it established the CRPA Lab for industrial research in 2010. The environment-energy section offers technical and scientific assistance for the valorization of organic waste, material recovery and optimization of energy processes.
ART-ER Attractiveness Research Territory
ART-ER Attractiveness Research Territory is the Consortium Company of Emilia-Romagna, born from the merger of ASTER and ERVET, with the aim of fostering the sustainable growth of the region through innovation, knowledge, attractiveness and internationalization. Its activities include coordination of the regional innovation ecosystem, support for business creation, sustainable territorial development, investment promotion, competitiveness and environmental sustainability. It is divided into two divisions: Research and Innovation and Sustainable Territorial Development.
Assobioplastics
Assobioplastiche has as its objectives the promotion of knowledge and the proper use of bioplastics, the dissemination of the culture of the sector, the promotion of studies and the dissemination of standards related to these materials. The Association is made up of Italian and international companies that produce biodegradable polymers and finished products, as well as organizations, NGOs, universities and other associations.

BiCT Srl is an innovative SME with expertise in industrial biotechnology, focused on the development of advanced processes for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, food and veterinary industries. The company has recently relocated to a facility of more than 3,300 m², mainly dedicated to research. In its 2023-2027 plan, BiCT plans to develop an infrastructure for advanced biotechnology technologies such as fermentation and enzymatic biocatalysis, with the goal of establishing a pilot plant for large-scale production of marketable solutions.

Bioinagro Società Agricola Srl is an innovative startup developing extractive processes for biochemicals derived from Sicilian plant biomass waste, through the OpuntiaBiotech project. The company has created an integrated and sustainable bio-refinery concept that operates on the same territory as biomass. It uses mechanical-physical extraction techniques, without synthetic solvents, and develops mini-plants with high technical, process and energy efficiency, applying a green and agro-artisan approach.
Biopox Ltd.
Biopox, with expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology and fermentation processes, develops solutions based on enzyme catalysis to optimize or innovate traditional processes in sectors such as textiles, tanning, cosmetics and food. It also offers a service for the production of recombinant proteins, ensuring quality products at competitive costs. Biopox is open to new collaborations for joint development of new enzymes, focusing on innovation and research.

"Biorepack is the national consortium for the recycling of compostable bioplastic packaging, part of the CONAI system. It manages the end-of-life of EN 13432-certified compostable bioplastic packaging and the like, delivered to the separate collection circuit and recycling of the organic fraction of municipal waste (wet). Its main focus is on industrial recycling of bioplastic packaging by member companies, promoting the sustainability and recycling of bioplastics."
Biosphere S.r.L.
Biosphere is a company with over 15 years of experience in industrial biotechnology, specializing in research and development of biotechnological processes from laboratory scale-up to pilot and pre-industrial scale-up. It focuses on the expression of recombinant proteins, enzymes and metabolites in bacteria, yeasts and fungi, optimizing fermentation and downstream processes to improve production yields, reduce costs and environmental impact. In addition, it offers contract manufacturing of high value-added microbial products.
BiosYness
Startup that transforms industrial coffee waste. The project was born with a strong commitment to sustainability and scientific research, supported by the University of Milan. The startup aims to reshape the tanning industry by transforming coffee waste into high-quality, eco-friendly leather.
Biotec Sys S.r.l.
Biotec Sys Srl is an independent company developing biotechnology in the environmental, bioenergy, agricultural and food sectors. With established know-how on fermentative, biocatalytic and photosynthetic processes, it uses biowaste, organic wastes and other biomasses. It has developed integrated anaerobic digestion systems of waste and organic by-products, such as glycerol derived from biodiesel production, for biomethane production.

Coldiretti, with 1.6 million members, is the leading organization of agricultural entrepreneurs at the national and European levels. It has a widespread presence in Italy with 20 regional federations, 95 interprovincial, 869 Area Offices and 3,576 municipal sections. It represents not only agricultural enterprises, but also cooperatives and the agribusiness sector. With the Campagna Amica Foundation and the Filiera Italia project, it promotes the defense and enhancement of Made in Italy and the agri-food chain.

Comieco is the National Consortium for the Recycling and Recovery of Cellulose-Based Packaging. Its Consortium members are producers, importers and processors of cellulosic materials and packaging. The Consortium enters into agreements with local governments for separate collection and manages, through these entities, the system of voluntary collection and recycling of paper and cardboard waste.

Consortium for the Promotion of Plastic Culture – PROPLAST
Proplast, founded in Alexandria in 1998, is a technology center specializing in polymers and composites. Initially dedicated to staff training, it has evolved its mission to create a multidisciplinary network that unites academia and industry. Proplast manages all stages of the value chain, from materials research through prototyping, testing, compounding, and product engineering. With a strong commitment to the environment, it promotes eco-sustainability and innovation in recycling and bioplastics, pursuing international expansion to establish itself as a global center of expertise.
Consorzio Italiano Compostatori – CIC
The Consorzio Italiano Compostatori is a nonprofit organization that promotes the recycling of the organic fraction of waste, with the goal of producing compost and biomethane. It is committed to spreading quality separate collection for the recovery of organic waste in biological treatment plants, contributing to the achievement of the European Union's goals in the Circular Economy package.
Council for Research and Experimentation in Agriculture – CREA
CREA is the Italian public research organization dedicated to agribusiness, supervised by MASAF. Distributed throughout the country, it comprises 12 Research Centers, divided into 6 interdisciplinary and 6 supply chain. CREA has expertise in agriculture, fisheries, forestry, nutrition and socioeconomics, addressing the challenges of sustainability in production systems, both for food and biomass for materials and energy production.
DND Biotech Ltd.
The project develops a land drone and molecular tools for bioremediation and recovery of contaminated soils, combining robotics, wireless devices and biotechnology with machine learning. It aims to develop solutions for soil decontamination and measurement of soil health, functional biodiversity through metagenomics, CO2 fixation, increased organic matter and agricultural productivity. It also aims to reduce the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, promoting more sustainable agricultural practices.
Edmund Mach Foundation
The Edmund Mach Foundation, active since 2008, continues the work of the San Michele all'Adige Agricultural Institute, founded in 1874. It is a prestigious institution that has achieved important international milestones in education, research and technology transfer in the agricultural, agrifood and environmental sectors. Its biomass research and development activities aim to optimize production chains, recovering and enhancing the value of waste materials, introducing innovative solutions adapted to the territorial context, with particular attention to environmental impact.

ENCO Srl - Engineering & Consulting is a consulting firm based in Naples and active since 1987. It specializes in research and innovation consulting and technical assistance to companies. CRF (Centro Ricerche FIAT), founded in 1978, is the research reference point for FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). Its main objectives are: to develop innovative solutions for the competitiveness of FCA products, to represent the company in pre-competitive research projects at the national and European levels, and to support FCA in the enhancement of intangible capital by creating an international network of contacts.
Fisheries and Blue Growth District – COSVAP
The District of Fisheries and Blue Growth - COSVAP of Mazara del Vallo has been active for years in solving problems in the fishing sector and supporting companies in the supply chain. Recognized by the Sicilian Region, the District is committed to developing and implementing actions for the innovation of the fishing supply chain at local, national and transnational levels. GREEN – Research center on geography, natural resources, energy, environment and networks
GREEN is a Bocconi research center born in 2018 from the merger of two historic institutes: IEFE (active since 1957 in the field of economics and environmental and energy policies) and CERTET (founded in 1995 and focused on regional economics, transport and tourism). The center expands their expertise nationally and internationally, promoting studies at the intersection of socio-economic phenomena, climate change, transportation, environmental and energy policies.

Veneto Green Cluster is a network recognized by the Veneto Region (DGR N. 54/2017) that promotes the circular economy, involving Veneto universities and numerous multi-sector companies. It operates mainly through Green Tech Italy, focusing on waste valorization and involving industrial sectors that provide environmental goods and services, as well as companies committed to reducing the environmental impact of their production processes and products.
Hackustica S.r.l
Hackustica is an Apulian startup that specializes in upcycling materials, recovering animal, plant and industrial by-products to make prototypes through industrial processes and laboratory testing. The goal is to develop production models that contribute to local economic development and energy transition. The startup produces a line of eco-friendly, biodegradable thermal-acoustic insulation made from sheep wool for acoustics and green building.
HiTech
CiaoTech develops technology transfer activities and supports technological innovation by assisting private companies, research centers and public organizations in their industrial research and technology development processes. This process facilitates the sharing of knowledge, research results and innovative solutions to improve competitiveness and stimulate growth in various sectors by fostering collaboration between academia, research and industry.
I-Foria
i-Foria is an innovative company specializing in the sustainable recycling of personal absorbent products (PAP) and the development of circular economy technologies. Its proprietary, patented technology offers an efficient process for shredding, sterilizing and removing pharmaceutical residues, reducing the use of energy and chemicals. i-Foria licenses its technology to companies to build recycling plants in exchange for royalties. With a second patent, it aims to further valorize secondary raw materials through a Hub & Spoke system for upcycling.
Iavarone Wood Technology s.r.l. – IWT
IWT Iavarone Wood Technology S.r.l. is an innovative start-up in the field of Bioeconomy, engaged in research and development, design, production and marketing of bio-sustainable wood products and structures. It is also dedicated to the enhancement of the forest heritage, creating a Forest-Wood supply chain that promotes the use of forest resources in the areas of green chemistry, bio-energy and wood, both basic and work, with the aim of supporting environmental sustainability and innovation.
IBIS Consortium
The Sustainable Chemistry Innovation Pole, established in 2009 in Novara, aims to bring together the expertise of innovative chemical companies in the area to stimulate innovation in environmental issues. Piedmont chemical companies have defined two strategic lines: the production of bio-based products from renewable and biodegradable raw materials and the reduction of environmental impact through process modifications and product substitution. These lines are developed in three Organic Integrated Projects: coatings, bio-based products and environmentally friendly processes/products.

Innovhub – Experimental Stations for Industry S.r.l.
Innovhub Stazioni Sperimentali per l'Industria s.r.l. is a national research, innovation and technology transfer center operating in various sectors, including energy, food, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology and the bioeconomy. Offering applied research, scientific-technical consulting, testing and analysis, the center supports SMEs in European planning and innovation financing.
