European Bioeconomy Clusters Alliance (EBCA) Position Paper Published.

In the aftermath of the unveiling of the New Strategy for the Bioeconomy in Europe, theEuropean Bioeconomy Clusters Alliance (EBCA) publishes its Position Paper supported by a number of leading bioeconomy innovation clusters and associations in Europe.

SPRING is among the promoters and founding members of the Alliance, actively contributing to the definition of priorities and strategic actions to strengthen the European bioeconomy.

As Europe prepares for the next Multiannual Financial Framework, the Position Paper highlights a key point: bioeconomy innovation clusters must be officially recognized as strategic partners in the governance and implementation of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy.

The paper lists the most important steps needed to unleash Europe’s full potential toward a circular and sustainable economy.
