Strengthening the European bioeconomy: Pilots4U opens access to pilot and demo infrastructures across Europe

The Pilots4U community today launched its new digital platform, a strategic tool designed to strengthen the European bioeconomy and support industrial innovation.

The Pilots4U platform provides an open-access database of state-of-the-art pilot and demo infrastructures located across Europe.

Its goal is to facilitate access for companies and research organisations active in the bioeconomy to testing facilities capable of supporting innovations from the development phase through to market entry.

In addition to the database, the platform offers a comprehensive set of innovation support services, including free webinars and training courses (with access to recordings), study visits to pilot and demo infrastructures, and networking events such as the Pilot and Demo Infrastructure Fairs.

The Pilots4U database currently includes profiles and contact details of more than 100 pilot and demo infrastructures from 21 European countries and is continuously expanding, with new entries added on a weekly basis.

The platform is freely accessible at www.biopilots4U.eu and is developed within the framework of COPILOT, a CSA project funded by the Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint Undertaking.
