STRONGBIONET, the European project coordinated by the SPRING Cluster that brings together some of the key players in Europe’s bioeconomy ecosystem, has officially launched.
On June 10 , 2026, the partnership met in Seville, Spain, for its kick-off meeting, marking the start of a collaborative effort involving partners from various European and international countries.
The goal of the project is to strengthen innovation, stakeholder engagement, and cooperation within the bioeconomy ecosystem, thereby promoting the development of increasingly sustainable and circular solutions.
Throughout the day, the consortium partners, together with representatives of the European Commission and industry experts, discussed the project’s strategic vision, governance structure, work plan, and the expected impacts of the activities to be carried out in the coming years.
STRONGBIONET represents an important opportunity to strengthen an international network of organizations committed to promoting the bioeconomy and working together to address the challenges of the transition to a more sustainable and competitive economy.
