CircHive – Developing & piloting biodiversity footprinting & natural capital accounting via a ‘beehive’ of sectoral hubs, for sustainable transition to a circular EU bioeconomy is a Horizion Europe project with 15 research partners and 10 case studies. The project aims to help businesses and the public sector recognize, value and protect nature.
The objectives of the project are:
- Develop rigorous and standardized methods for combining two approaches to nature assessment: biodiversity footprint and natural capital accounting;
- work closely with businesses and cities to develop BEEHive (Biodiversity Excellence of Enterprises), a community open to any organization interested in learning how to measure and manage its impact on nature.
