BIOECONOMY GIANTS – FosterinG collaboratIon among primAry producers and beyoNd to promoTe Sustainable growth is a project funded under the HORIZON-JU-CBE-2024-CSA-01 call.

The project, which began in June 2025, is coordinated by the Spanish cluster Food+i and aims to enhance collaboration between primary producers, rural actors, and bio-based industries to accelerate Europe’s transition toward a more sustainable bioeconomy.

GIANTS seeks to fully integrate primary producers (from the agricultural and forestry sectors), shifting their role from mere biomass suppliers to key players in the bio-based value chain and bringing them closer to innovative cooperative and circular business models.

To achieve these goals, GIANTS will offer:

• Tailored training programs to create broader value networks;

• Direct financial support through two open calls to promote testing and scaling up of new bio-based solutions;

• Dedicated decision-making tools.
