Mission

SPRING’s mission is to build interconnections between different sectors of the bioeconomy, helping to address environmental, social and economic challenges with a systemic and multidisciplinary approach.

The Cluster works to build a strong and representative community, protecting the interests of the sector at institutions and encouraging innovation projects that enhance territories. The SPRING network collaborates to promote a world where the circular bioeconomy becomes the beating heart of a new model of sustainable and regenerative growth.

Dissemination and Territorial Development Committee (Dissemination and Territorial Development Committee), is in charge of the verification of innovation needs in the territories and dissemination of the results obtained by the Circular Bioeconomy Cluster in the territory and/or, in the case of Associations or Consortia, among its Members, and/or ensures synergy and coherence between territorial policies and the activities of the Circular Bioeconomy Cluster. It brings together all Members belonging to categories such as, but not limited to: Trade Associations, Territorial Associations, Foundations, Consortia, Innovation Poles, Science and Technology Parks, Consulting Companies, Communication and Publishing Companies, Development Agencies of Regions and Local Authorities, etc.

Committee for Public and Private Research Bodies (Research Committee), which brings together universities and research centers falling under the definition of "Research Bodies" in European Commission Communication 2014/C 198/01. It has the function of developing strategies for research.
