The International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization, the major world Conference on Science and Policy of CO2 utilization as a building block and source of carbon, will have its 20th annual meeting on June 25-29, 2023, in Bari – Italy.
ICCDU is now running since 30 years, switching among Europe, Asia and America.
The Conference (planned as an in-person event with an option to convert to virtual or mixed, if required) represents a place for chemists, biologysts, engineers, and policy planners to meet, exchange ideas and discuss the state of the art and the innovative processes in the field of CO2 capture and utilization.
ICCDU XX will be organized around the following key themes:
- Policy, Social and Economic aspects of carbon dioxide capture and utilization;
- Carbon recycling within the Circular Economy Strategy;
- Hydrogen production relevant to carbon dioxide conversion;
- Catalytic conversion of CO2 into fuels and chemicals via thermal processes;
- Catalytic conversion of CO2 into fuels and chemicals via photochemical, electrochemical and photoelectrochemical processes (coprocessing of CO2 and water);
- Bio-technological processes and hybrid catalysis for CO2 conversion,
- Catalytic plasma processes;
- CO2 capture and mineralization;
- Non-reactive applications of CO2.
